The 2027 reelection bid of the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Obi Aguocha, has received a significant boost following a tacit but emphatic endorsement from the Prince of Ibeku Ukwu Ancient Kingdom, Obidike Nwakaodo.
The royal endorsement came when Aguocha, accompanied by his entourage, paid a courtesy visit to the revered traditional institution.
Speaking during the visit, Nwakaodo commended the federal lawmaker for what he described as quality representation, developmental interventions and impactful humanitarian gestures across the constituency.
In a declaration that leaves little room for ambiguity, the Prince stated: “I, Obidike Nwakaodo, the Prince of Ibeku Ukwu Ancient Kingdom, endorse Obi Aguocha over and above every other candidate in the race.”
He further praised Aguocha’s humility and accessibility, noting that his record of achievements has positioned him strongly for a second term.
The endorsement is coming as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections, adding considerable weight to Aguocha’s reelection campaign.
