The CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, has congratulated its State Director, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, on his appointment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, describing the development as a recognition of his leadership qualities, political commitment, and dedication to grassroots mobilisation.
In a congratulatory message issued by its Secretariat, the Movement described the appointment as a proud moment for the entire CityBoy family in Abia State, noting that it reflects Mayor Igbokwe’s contributions to the growth of the Movement and his commitment to promoting progressive leadership.
The Secretariat highlighted the progress recorded by the CityBoy Movement under Mayor Igbokwe’s leadership, particularly in strengthening its organisational structures, mobilising young people, and expanding its presence across the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State.
According to the Movement, his appointment to the APC Presidential Campaign Council offers an opportunity to contribute further to the party’s national political objectives while ensuring that the aspirations of young people and grassroots supporters receive greater attention.
The Secretariat expressed confidence in Mayor Igbokwe’s ability to bring his wealth of experience, strategic insight, and organisational expertise to bear on his new responsibilities, adding that his inclusion in the council underscores the importance of effective leadership and grassroots engagement in national politics.
