I am High Chief Raymond Ofoegbu, Onyinye Ohuhu, and I warmly welcome our friends, well-wishers, sons and daughters of Ohuhu, and all people of goodwill to Ofeme Ohuhu for the Iwa Ji Ohuhu Festival 2026.
It is my special pleasure to welcome our dear Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, and everyone joining us to celebrate this important cultural festival.
Let us come together to revive, preserve and promote our rich cultural heritage. Let us also encourage and support the elevation of our traditional institutions, and call for our traditional rulers to be accorded the recognition and status they deserve for their invaluable role in keeping our culture and traditions alive.
Congratulations to Ndi Eze Ohuhu, particularly our host, Eze Ignatius Iheanachor, and all the traditional rulers and leaders of Ohuhu.
I sincerely commend and appreciate the good people of Ofeme Ohuhu for their warm hospitality and generosity. I encourage everyone to come out in great numbers and participate fully in this year’s celebration—as though the survival and continuity of our culture depend on it.
Let us celebrate our heritage, honour our traditions, strengthen our unity, and pass our rich culture on to generations yet unborn.
Once again, I welcome you all to Iwa Ji Ohuhu Festival 2026.
