Prof Greg Ibe Is Destined To Be The Next Gov Of Abia State- Victor Oye

The national Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Oye, has dismissed the high court judgement which voided the governorship primaries of the party in Abia State, saying that it can’t survive judicial scrutiny.
Chief Oye also declared that Prof Greg Ibe will win the Abia State governorship poll come 2023, while calling on party supporters not to entertain any fear about the General Election in Abia, but to remain confident and hopeful because God has ordained it to be so.
The APGA national Chairman who spoke at the occasion of the inauguration of its governorship campaign council in Umuahia, the Abia State capital on Friday, 2 December, 2022, admonished the party’s flagbearer for the various positions to go for victory because this is the time of APGA in Abia State.
In his address at the event which took place at the APGA arena, the governorship candidate of the party, Prof Greg Ibe, thanked everyone that came for the inauguration, and commended Chief Victor Oye for making it possible to be in Umuahia for the inauguration of the campaign council.
Prof Ibe told the mammoth gathering of party followers who witnessed the event that 2023 is the year of APGA.
He said that those contesting the governorship seat with him are people without pedigree, adding that he replied them when they made the ‘dustbin’ remarks at the PDP rally in Umuahia.
So, “we replied them that we are not from the dustbin. They are not our match, at 21 years, I already had pedigree and they don’t have any. There is none of them that has investment in Abia State, they don’t invest in our state, he submits.
Prof Ibe assured the party faithful that the party is receiving widespread support in its bid to dislodge the PDP in Abia come 2023, adding that there is no need to be afraid.
In his welcome address, the state chairman of the party, Rev Augustine Ehiemere, said there is absolute peace and unity among the state working committee members of APGA in Abia State.
“The SWC under my leadership is united and focused . We are resolute to lead APGA into government house come 2023”.
