The Director General Global Awareness for Public Safety Foundation, GAPS, Apostle Chuks Alozie, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former first Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, Imo state Governor. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Cross River State Governor. Sen. Bassey Otu, Prince Arthur Eze, Sen. Ned Nwoko amongst other, for their support and contributions to Michael Okpara Foundation.
Apostle Alozie made these applaud during a media chat with Journalist in Abuja, on the importance of immortalizing those who have shown leadership examples, economic and social philosophy such as late Premier of Eastern Region Dr M.I Okpara.
The GAPS DG described the contributions of President BolaTinubu and others as a good gesture towards the actualization of “Micheal Okpara Leadership Institute”, which is a proposed monumental project of Michael Okpara Foundation.
According to Apostle Alozie “The establishment of an institute which will support the grooming of leaders with forthrightness, simplicity, humanism, knowledge and people’s servants such as the late Premier of Eastern Region, Dr M.I Okpara is a welcome development”.
“I therefore call on all Nigerians especially those of Old Eastern Region, to emulate these great Nigerians, who desired the continuity of good leadership style of the man, late Dr. M.I Okpara and show their support to the Michael Okpara foundation in making this project a reality to follow suit”
Investing in agriculture, Industrialization, infrastructural development as well as equal opportunity in leadership as exhibited by likes of Dr.Okpara and others, according to Apostle Alozie, will help reduce agitations and foster our economic growth and usher in peace and security in all corners of Nigeria.
He commended the Chairman Chief Uzodinma Okpara and members of Michael Okpara Foundation for believing and understanding the need to sustain the leadership style of Dr. Okpara, and pledged his organization’s collaboration with the foundation.
