Dozie Okezie Congratulates Okwulehie On His Emergence As APC Candidate For Umuahia North Constituency

The emergence of Hon Onyedi Okwulehie aka Lord Mayor as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Umuahia North (Ohuhu) state constituency race in the 2023 General Election has continued to received widespread applause within and outside the constituency.

Abia born entrepreneur and estate surveyor, Mr Dozie Okezie, has described the emergence of Hon Onyedi Okwulehie as victory for the people of Ohuhu who are yearning for good representation at the Abia State House of Assembly.

 In a press release issued in Umuahia and made available to journalists at the end of the APC primary election in which Onyedi Okwulehie defeated his opponent Mr Ugochukwu Mbakwe with wide margin, Mr Dozie Okezie said he wants to use the medium to congratulate the APC candidate for winning the ticket, adding that it’s victory for the party.

He called on the good people of Ohuhu to see Okwulehie’s emergence as divine, adding that Ohuhu people got it right by voting for the Lord Mayor whose victory has continued to receive massive jubilation across Umuahia North.  

The statement read thus; “on behalf of myself and the good people of Umuda Okpuala, Okpu-Isingwu Autonomous Community of Umuahia North LGA, I hereby congratulate Hon Onyedi Okwulehie aka Lord Mayor on his victory at the just concluded APC primaries for Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency seat election 2023.

He said “It’s a well-deserved victory given your contributions and sacrifices for the good of mankind. There’s no doubt that you will emerge victorious at the General Election proper to represent the good people of Ohuhu at the Abia State House of Assembly come 2023 and continue with your selfless service to the people of Umuahia North in particular and Abia State in general”, Dozie Okezie wrote.

Onyedi Okwulehie is the offspring of the foremost executive chairman of Ikwuano-Umuahia LGA, the late Mayor Chief Sam Okwulehie of Umuda Okpuala Okpu-Isingwu autonomous community. He is seen as the candidate to beat at the General Election given his pedigree and acceptability across party lines and among would be voters.
