The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has condoled with the family of Late Chief Johnson Onuigbo, former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State.

while signing the condolence register on Sunday at the country home of the late politician described the Late Abia PDP Chairman as a man who contributed his quota to the advancement of the State.
The Speaker said every effort was made medically to save his life but that it pleased God to take him at this time.
“We tried our best possible to see that Akinbod (as he was fondly called by his admirers) survived, but since it happened the way it did, we can’t question God”, he said.
The Speaker who was accompanied by the National Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Col.Austin Akobundu, the Lawmaker representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon Jerry Uzosike, and his Ikwuano State Constituency counterpart, Hon Stanley Nwabuisi, assured the Late Onuigbo’s family, that he will Continue to stand by them at all times.
The National Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Col. Austin Akobundu on his part also consoled the family of the Late Abia State PDP Chairman.
Responding on behalf of the Late Sir Johnson Onuigbo’s Family, Clerk of the Abia State House of Assembly, Sir Johnpedro Irokansi, thanked the Speaker of the House and his entourage for coming to condole with the family.
The Member representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon Jerry Uzosike, led the prayer for the Late Onuigbo’s family.
