Chris Nwokocha, a former secretary to Umuahia North Local Government Council and a veteran journalist is dead. The news of his death was received with shock today following his appearance at the just concluded Ohuhu Welfare Union election held on Monday November 11, at the Umuawa-Alaocha Central School Umuahia. The day before the election, Chris Nwokocha was also at Okaiuga-Ngwoegwu with some of the delegates from Umule for a meeting and did not betray any sign of sickness.
