The Executive Secretary and CEO of National Agricultural Development fund NADF, Mohammed Abu Ibrahim, is among those to deliver keynote address at Dr Michael Okpara Annual Leadership Lecture and award, on Thursday August 22, 2024 at Musa Yar’Adua event Center Abuja.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, Dr Michael Okpara Foundation, Chief Uzodinma Okpara and Chairman event Organizing committee Tobs Agbaegbu, said the NADF boss will deliver keynote address, with a focus on the need for effective funding of agriculture in Nigeria, which according to the organisers is an aspect of larger successes of late Dr Okpara’s administration as Premier of Eastern Region.
Others to deliver address at the event alongside NADF boss includes, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who doubled as the Chief guest of honour, Former President Goodluck Jonathan and Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma amongst others, while the event is to be Chaired by Former Senate President and SGF Anyim Pius Anyim.
The statement also states that the NADF ES/CEO is to receive Dr Michael Okpara Premier Prize Service with integrity Awards alongside Chief Host and Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, and Governors of Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Cross river, and Akwa Ibom; the Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, other lawmakers, Captains of Industries, Philanthropist in Nigeria and Diaspora.
The statement further said, Muhammad Abu Ibrahim, was selected for his competency, integrity in leadership and impactful public service, especially in Agric sector and food supply chain.
The Michael Okpara Leadership Lecture and award, is a good governance, development and leadership promotion program organized annually by Dr Michael Okpara Foundation and Verbatim Media group, to encourage and promote good governance, integrity in public service, and accountability in service delivery.
