Chief Obi Aguocha’s effort to occupy the Ikwuano/Umuahia seat at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly got a massive boost Tuesday from an iconic Igbo Leader of Ikwuano/Umuahia extraction in the person of Prince B.B. Apugo (Ochiagha Ibeku).
Declaring his massive support for the Labour Party Candidate during a courtesy call paid to him, by the leader of the Labour Party in Abia State, Dr Alex Otti (MFR) at his palace, Prince Apugo emphasised the need to always adhere to the basic principles of Equity, Justice and Fairness.
He expressed sadness that some individuals would contrive baseless arguments to justify their actions all aimed at glaringly undermining the truth for selfish reasons. He stressed that he will always stand by what is right before God and Man. Hence, his unalloyed support to Chief Obi Aguocha and that Ohuhu should rightfully have the House of Representatives opportunity for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.
Prince Apugo, therefore, urged all well-meaning citizens from Ikwuano/Umuahia to massively vote for, Chief Obi Aguocha in the forthcoming elections to preserve the balance, understanding and fair-play in political office distribution between Ibeku and Ohuhu, noting that Ohuhu and Ibeku are one indissoluble entity.
This resounding endorsement is coming on the heels of the recent reception organized in honor of Chief Obi Aguocha by the Afara-Ukwu Political stakeholders.
Also in the Entourage included: Chief (Hon) Nnanna Ngwu (Chairman, Abia State Labour Campaign Council), (Hon) Acho Obioma (State Coordinator, Campaign Council), H/Chief Victor Ikeji (Director, Campaign Council), Commodore McDonald Uba (Rtd) Director Campaign Council), Chief Otah Kalu (Director Campaign Council), and Chief Okey Kalu (Secretary, Campaign Council).
