The CEO, Nextzon Business Services Limited, Sir Mac Atasie, has proffered solutions to the poverty challenge facing citizens of Nigeria.
Atasie who doubles as the Chief Economic Adviser to Abia state Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, said poverty can be eradicated from innovation which arises from inspiration; visioning, creativity and other success factors.
The CEO made this revelation on Saturday, February 19, during an interaction with media practitioners in Umuahia Abia state on the topic; ”Innovation and Action to lift Nigeria from Poverty”.
Buttressing on innovation, Atasie revealed that he and his team generated over N800million in 2021 from tricycle daily tax collection for the Abia State government. “In 2021 we made over N800million as revenue from commercial tricycles owners and that alone can pay salaries of workers due to efficiency caused by innovation”, he stressed.
Other key success factors to create a working society according to Atasie are; Audacious vision, Mobilisation of people and funds, Strategic advantage leverage and Disciplined execution.
Atasie commended Governor Ikpeazu for being an innovative leader and for driving and supporting innovative solutions to tackling the problems of Internally Generated Revenue in the state.
