Abia Speaker Condoles Bereaved Family As Late Mrs Joy Benson Goes Home To Eternal Rest

The living have been reminded that the live they enjoy is not theirs, hence, the need to bear in mind that a day of reckoning will come when all will be required to render account of stewardship. This is just as the Speaker Abia House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji advised Hon Humphrey Benson to continue to be a source of succour to other members of the family of the late Mrs Joy Benson Maduwuaja.

Reverend Gabriel Obasi of the Apostolic Power Restoration Mission, Nigeria, Ehume, Umuopara, Umuahia South LGA, Abia State, dropped the hint on Friday during the funeral of Late Mrs Joy Benson Maduwuaja, Mother of the LGA Chairman, Umuahia South, Engr. Dr. Humphrey Benson.

Speaking on the topic, “I have a time limit here on earth”, drawn from the book of Psalms chapter 39 verse 4, Rev. Obasi reminded the gathering that their various activities on earth is time bound, revealing that at the appointed time, God, who is the owner of their lives will demand a rendering of stewardship.

The cleric frowned at the nonchalant attitude of people who live carelessly, forgetting that it is appointed unto man once to die, reminding them that their days on earth are numbered as God decides the actual day, year or time each man will pay the ultimate price.

He advised them to live a life worthy of emulation, pointing out that what matters in life is to live a worthy life that pleases God just as he encouraged the gathering to make amends and seek the kingdom of God before it is too late.

Reverend Obasi also charged those present to be a blessing to others, noting that God blessed them to be sources of inspiration and blessing to their generation.
