A protest on Tuesday by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria also known as Shiites, has turned violent at the National Assembly. The protesters reportedly shot at least two security operatives at the National Assembly complex. The incident led to the closure of all gates to the National Assembly premises Pandemonium broke out on Tuesday in the lobby of the National Assembly after Shi’ite protesters shot at least four policemen attached to the complex.
