The National and State Assembly election petition tribunal Umuahia has nullified the election of senate chief whip and former governor of Abia state, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu. The tribunal ordered a rerun election for Abia North senatorial district, Abia State. Orji Kalu, who was the candidate of the APC defeated Chief MAO Ohuabunwa of the PDP, but the late petitioned the tribunal alleging irregularities.
