Israel will appeal against the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant. Judges last week issued warrants for the two men along with Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif, saying there were reasonable grounds to believe the three men bore criminal responsibility for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
