Chairman of Daman Group Chief Ako Obioma has congratulated Senator MAO Ohuabunwa on his appointment, and inauguration as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Board of the University of Port Harcourt by President Bola Tinubu.
NewsCritic online reports that Senator MAO Ohuabunwa the former Senator who represented Abia North in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly was among prominent Abians, who got Board appointment in President Tinubu’s administration, in spite of belonging to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
In his congratulatory message, Chief Ako Obioma commended President Tinubu for finding Senator Ohuabunwa worthy of the appointment, saying that Tinubu has distinguished himself as a national leader who is concerned on competence.
He said that Ohuabunwa’s appointment as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Board of the University would bring about the transformation and development of the institution given the Senator’s pedigree and capacity to deliver on his mandate.
Sir Ako Obioma said “I congratulate my brother Senator MAO Ohuabunwa on his inauguration, as his appointment is a well deserved one given his track records. I have implicit confidence in his ability to deliver and make a remarkable difference in history of the institution”.
