Traditional ruler of Okpu Isingwu autonomous community HRM Eze KAN Emekobum, the Okpu Ngwu 1 has congratulated the Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti as he marks his one year in office.
Eze Emekobum who was a former chairman of Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers in a statement applauded Abia State Governor Alex Otti and his Deputy , Engr Ikechukwu Emetu, on their landmark achievements within one year in office.
The statement signed by Eze KAN Emekobum on behalf of the Eze-In-Council and the good people of Okpu-Isingwu autonomous Community praised Gov Otti and expressed their profound appreciation for his leadership skills, and ability to navigate the State’s ship to success.
Eze Emekobum said that within one year in office Gov Otti has made Abia a reference point in the comity of states, with notable achievements in all sectors of the state’s economic life.
He stated that Gov Otti has also exhibited high sense of transparency and accountability so far in governance, a situation that has made Abia to be ranked among the best governed states in Nigeria today.
The royal father also thanked the Abia State governor for the commissioning of the first six-lane Ossah Road in Abia, now renamed Gen Aguiyi Ironsi Boulevard, adding that Gov Otti has left no one in doubt as to his mission to rebuild Abia which was lagging behind in the past.
He noted that the Governor means well for Abia and its people, and has demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of Abia citizens.
