The Mayor of Umuahia North H/Chief Victor Ikeji will on 11 May, 2024 cap his towering academic record as he is conferred with the academic qualification of Doctor of Philosophy, PhD, by the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).
H/Chief Victor Ikeji is one of Abias best and brightest who is until recently a Masters Degree holder in Political Science with distinction from the University of Ibadan.
Unit his appointment as the Mayor of Umuahia North, Chief Victor Ikeji was an International relations and development scholar, a business leader with interests in real estate, mining and finance. He also chairs the board of several companies, which includes Blue Anchorage Ltd, Sound Anchorage Ltd, Central Mineral Development Company, Vikej Investments Ltd, Villach Promotions Ltd, amongst other lucrative business interests.
Since his appointment as Mayor of Umuahia North, Chief Victor Ikeji has his eyes on the ball, and has shown through example what leadership entails.
He is focused, visionary and astute such that in less that five months in office, his accomplishments have continued to resonate far and near making him one of the outstanding Local Government Chairmen in recent history. He has never looked back or distracted from performing his duties.
Come 11 May 2024 all roads will lead to UNN to witness this glorious occasion as the Mayor caps his academic excellence with a PhD degree in Political Science. At the moment congratulatory messages to the Mayor for achieving yet another milestone has flooded the social media space ahead of the D-Day.
H/Chief Victor Ikeji holds the traditional title of Kpakpando Umuahia and Ohuhu Deputy Royal Ambassador. It is going to be a celebration of academic excellence, political pragmatism and all-inclusiveness politics which he represents.
