Abia Commissioner Inspects Ohuhu Ring Road Project, Says He Is Happy With The Quality Of Job

By NewsCritic Reporters

Abia State Commissioner for Works Engr Don Otumchere Oti Friday 21 December, 2023 inspected the ongoing rehabilitation works on Ohuhu Ring road by N12 Asphalt Construction.

The Abia Commissioner decided to embark on the fact-finding mission to the project site in view of the misleading feedback the government was getting on the level of work being done by the contractor.

Engr Don Oti, who was visibly elated with the quality of job done so far, expressed his satisfaction with the level of work being executed by N12 Asphalt.

The commissioner was accompanied on the inspection visit by Hon Kelechi Anderson Akaliro, member representing Umuahia North State constituency at the 8th Abia State Assembly and members of the Team Nwa-Abia Movement, who were conducted round the project by the Project Manager, Mr Mohammed Ibra.

The Commissioner for Works, however, asked the contractor to hasten up action on the road to ensure that there is zero port hole on the road, as we celebrate the yuletide season.

NewsCritic online reports that the outcome of the visit has put a lie to all the gossips and rumours by political opponents alleging that the contractor was doing a substandard job on the Ohuhu road.

The project is being facilitated by prominent Ohuhu leaders in partnership with N12 Asphalt.
