Said Chika Nwabueze in his birthday message, “I’ve been around and has continued to follow politics closely in this region, I must confess that Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia deserves all the awards and honours bestowed on him because he has shown commitment in not only building enduring infrastructure in the communities, but also an understanding of the precarious situation many Nigerian families face due to the harsh economic climate to which he is responding by providing business grants, empowerments and palliatives to help humanity.

He further observed that despite the fact that his Umuahia North house of assembly run did not pan out, that Chris Nwa-Abia has remained focused in his believe in the making of a New Abia where there are equal opportunities, and government makes the best use of the resources at their disposal for the good of the masses.

“Right now, he is in collaboration with the Member representing Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon (Sir) Obi Aguocha, and the member representing Umuahia North State constituency at the Abia house of assembly, Hon (Barr) Kelechi Anderson Akaliro to see how to empower their constituents and make life more meaningful for them.

The veteran journalist wished Nwa-Abia God’s blessing as he marks another milestone, and urged him not to get tired of charity works but to continue to reach out to more communities and the less privileged because he has been prepared to attain greatness. He urged politicians to emulate his good works despite having not held any political office.
