Ohuhu PDP Stakeholders’ Forum Appoints Hon Onyeoziri, Uche Aguoru As New Leader, Secretary

…they are seeking relevance- Megwara

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Stakeholders’ Forum in Ohuhu Umuahia has effected a change in their leadership, according to a press released issued on Tuesday in Umuahia and signed by Chief Uche Aguoru.

According to the release Hon Clement Onyeoziri and Chief Uche Aguoru have been appointed the new Leader and Secretary of the stakeholders in Ohuhu respectively.

They said the change in leadership followed the defection of the former leader and suspension of the former secretary due some official misdemeanour in the discharge of his duties to the group.

The release states:

Following the decampment of the former leader of the Ohuhu PDP Stakeholders Forum and the suspension of the former Secretary from the stakeholders forum, due to some infractions established against him, the Ohuhu Stakeholders Forum in a unanimous decision and in compliance with the party’s principles of strengthening the party has in a unanimous agreement appointed Honourable Clement Onyeoziri and Chief Uche Aguoru as the leader and Secretary of the Ohuhu Stakeholders Forum.

All party leaders, critical stakeholders, teeming members, and supporters of our great party in Ohuhu are urged to remain strong and united, as we collectively work with all the party’s candidates towards reclaiming our mandates through the tribunal.

We also want to assure the PDP family in Ohuhu to remain steadfast as we are poised to make the party stronger and move it forward in Ohuhu and the State in general.

However, Chief Kingsley Megwara in a chat with NewsCritic online dismissed them as illegitimate group, describing them as dissidents who are seeking for relevance. He said the PDP Stakeholders in Ohuhu have appointed Rt Hon Emeka Ejiogu as the new leader, while a vote of confidence was passed on him as the secretary.
