The centenary celebration of Methodist College Uzuakoli will hold in December 2023 to mark the college’s 100-years presence in the academic field.
According to a press release signed by the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Revd Sam Ekeledo, the decision to hold the event was reached after due consultations with the National Executive Committee, the Methodist Church, school authorities and relevant stakeholders in the project.
Revd Ekeledo said the centenary anniversary celebration has been selected for December 6th to December 10th, 2023. He added that following the announcement, all the past, present students and stakeholders are expected to commence adequate preparations within their groups and organisations for effective participation in the historic event.
The release further stated that the heads of branches and classes are required to contact this secretariat via the official telephone numbers and/or emails for further collaborative briefing, adding that the details of this once in a lifetime celebration will be released soon.

Fellow Alumni and Stakeholders,
It is with great pleasure and honor to announce to you that our beloved, Methodist College Uzuakoli Centenary Anniversary Celebrations, has been selected for Wednesday, December 6th to Sunday, December 10th, 2023.
This decision was reached after due consultations with the National Executive Committee, the Methodist Church, the School Authorities, the Host Community, and other relevant stakeholders. These dates are borne out of numerous sacrifices to ensure the involvement of all; particularly the students of the College.
With this announcement, all past, present students, and stakeholders are expected to commence preparations within their classes, branches, and organizations towards effective participation in this epochal five-day event. Heads of branches and classes are required to reach out to this Secretariat through the telephone numbers and/or emails here for further collaborative briefing. Furthermore, the details of this once in a lifetime celebration will be released in due time.
