As the Prof Greg Ibe Campaign Council Ward Tour entered its fourth day, the Abia Central team led by High Chief Enyi Onyekwere, visited various wards in Umuahia South Local Government.
The Governorship bid of Prof Greg Ibe continued to gather more momentum as endorsement of his candidacy was a recurring decimal in all the wards.
Large number of people from the Communities turned out to welcome the PGICC with songs and dances.
High Chief Enyi Onyekwere, who is the Secretary of the Campaign Council and leader of the team, thanked them for their patience.
He attributed the delay to the terrible state of the road network in the local government.
He stressed the fact that there cannot be peace without justice, hence the support for Prof Greg Ibe of Abia North to be governor of Abia State come 2023.
High Chief Enyi Onyekwere stated clearly that Prof Greg Ibe is the most qualified person to handle the reins of affairs in Abia 2023.
Speaking, the House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. Emmanuel Egwu, Umuahia South State constituency told his teeming supporters that APGA is poised to win. He encouraged the voters to remain resolute in their determination to see the end of PDP government in Abia State.
In their reactions, the people of the Ohiaocha, Nsirimo, Ahiaukwu ward 2, Omaegwu, Ogbodiezeleke wards amongst others decried the lack of government presence, and lamented the state of their communities and vowing to vote in Prof Greg Ibe, whom they all described as God sent, expressing optimism that he alone has the capability to rescue Abia State from the monumental failure of the ruling PDP.
