I’m Destined To Be Gov, Prof Ikonne Declares, Inaugurates Uche Ndi Abia Campaign In Umuahia North

The Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organisation has been inaugurated in Umuahia North LGA by Prof Uche Ikonne, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, flagbearer for the 2023 Abia state governorship election.
Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organisation is the campaign structure of Prof Ikonne that was formed to drive his governorship campaign in all the 17 LGAs of Abia state.
While inaugurating the team in Umuahia North Local Government headquarters on Wednesday 2nd November, 2023, Prof Ikonne stressed that Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organisation is for the good of Abia, adding that the people have been selected to be good ambassadors who would preach the good message that he has brought to Abia.
He promised to issue them with appointment letters and ID cards, and charged them to carry out the job assigned to them faithfully and diligently because they are going to be part of the new government.
Prof Ikonne promised to run a participatory governance model, saying that no community would be left out in the coming administration to be headed by him by the grace of God.
He also thanked the people of Umuahia North for the warm reception,  and reminded them that he would be on the same election with the party’s candidates for the state house of assembly seats.
Prof Ikonne therefore, asked them to ensure they vote for the PDP candidates because they are the ones going to govern Abia with him.
He charged the coordinator of the Uche Ndi Abia in Umuahia North LGA Hon Enyinnaya Agwu, to work hard for the success of the campaign in Umuahia North LGA, before he declared them inaugurated.
Dr Aham Ukoh, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, Hon. Chukwudi Apugo, Hon. Mrs Grace Nkem Uche and other major stakeholders who spoke at the event applauded Prof Ikonne’s administrative prowess, describing him as the best candidate for the job.
They described Prof Ikonne as a man of character and discipline, who must be supported to reposition Abia and promised to support his candidacy.
Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) commended Gov Ikpeazu for the choice of Ikonne and advised his campaign managers on the need to step up grassroots mobilization by adopting units and door-to-door campaign strategies to win more voters.
The Umuahia North Council of Traditional Rulers led by the Chairman, His Royal Majesty, Eze John Ebezim, declared their total support for his candidacy.
Some of the dignitaries at the event were Dr Aham Uko, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Elechi, Chief Moritz Abazie, Rt. Hon. Uzo Azubuike, Hon. Ugochukwu Ibe, Rt Hon Emeka Ejiogu, Hon Ugo Emezue, Hon Emeka Ejiogu, Dr Okechukwu Ndukwe, Hon. Chukwudi Apugo, Chief Uche Akwukwuegbu, Apostle Bob Agbugba and Dr. Chinatu Njoku among others.
