Endsars Anniversary: Mayor Lucky Igbokwe Honours Memories Of Victims, Advocates For Youth Inclusive Governance

Businessman, philanthropist and politician Mayor Lucky Igbokwe has called on government at all levels to be more responsive to the yearnings of the people to avoid situations which gave rise to the endsars protests two years ago, even as he condoled with the victims of the aborted revolution.

In a press statement issued by his office in Umuahia, the Abia state capital, Mayor Igbokwe, who was one of the conveners of the protest which rocked many Nigerian cities, recalled how the #Endsars was a protest of young people against bad governance and institutional rot in the country.

He enjoined the youths to honour the memories of those who lost their lives in the protest by picking up their PVCs and vote for competent and credible candiates who will build a better society that works for all, noting that “the change we want is only possible when we are part of the process” concluded the statement..
