National Honours: Ndi Eze Ohuhu Felicitates With Eze Nwosu, Dr Okonjo-Iweala, Amb Emenike, Chris Isiguzo And Others

The Ohuhu council of Traditional Rulers have extended its goodwill messages to the four recipients of the National Honours Award, who are illustrious sons and daughters of Ohuhu clan. He also congratulated the Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers HRM Eze Joseph Ndubuisi Nwabeke, Eze Amara 1 of Eziama Ntigha, who he said has brought enormous respect to the traditional stool.
They are the Director General of the World Trade Organisation, WTO, Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (GCON), Amb (Mrs) Uzoma Emenike (CON), HRM Eze Uzo Nwosu (MFR) and Chief Chris Isiguzo, MFR.
HRM Eze Uzo Nwosu is the traditional ruler of Umukabia Okaiuga Alaike Autonomous Community, Ohuhu in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State. Dr (Mrs) Uzoma Emenike who is the Nigerian Ambassador to the US, is the wife of Chief Ikechi Emenike the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Abia State, while Chief Chris Isiguzo is the President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.
In their congratulatory message signed by HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, Chairman Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers, the royal fathers said they are excited by the honour bestowed on their people by President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that it is a thing of pride to be so honored.
Eze Ofoegbu stressed that their recognition is a testimony to the roles they have played individually and their contributions to the development of Nigeria and the society.
While congratulating them for the well deserved honour, Eze Ofoegbu urged them to see the awards as a challenge to do more for humanity.
He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for finding these illustrious sons and daughters of Ohuhu worthy of the honour, adding that it’s Ohuhu that was honoured.
