The former governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Sen T. A Orji aka Ochendo has won the Rotary Club Award for his contributions to the development of the society.
In a letter dated 18th July 2022 communicating that he (T.A Orji) has been chosen for an Award by Rotary Club of Gowon Estate, Lagos, which was signed by Chairperson and Secretary Installation Committee, Rotarian (Engr) Rufai Adelani and Rotarian Ajumjum Theresa, the Rotary Club said they have followed the Senator T.A Orji’s various intervention programmes in the areas of health, education, youth empowerment and in the execution of constituency projects as well as sponsoring Bills that are beneficial to the people and decided to recognise and further encourage the Abia Senator.
Rotary Club of Gowon Estate Lagos, according to the letter said the recognition and honour of the Awardee would take place on Saturday 3 September, 2022, at NECA House, Alausa, Lagos during the installation of the 27th President, Rotarian Chinyere Madueke Onwo.
