Renowned businessman cum politician, His Excellency Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) has condoled with the family of the Late M.I Okpara over the death of their first daughter late Mrs Chinyere Eccles-James, who died in the United States.
In his condolence message to the family, he said he was very saddened to learn of the death of Mrs Chinyere Eccles-James, the daughter of the former premier of the Eastern region the late Dr M.I Okpara, whose passing in the United States is coming months after the death and burial of her mother, Chief Mrs Adanma Okpara, the late matriarch of the Okpara’s family”.
He reminded the family that they are not alone in their moment of grief.
He said the last time he saw the late Mrs Eccles-James was at the funeral ceremony of her mother at Umuegwu Afugiri Umuahia, where she showed courage of a woman determined to fight her terminal illness.
He implored the family to accept his sincerest sympathy on the loss.
