All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Umuahia Central State Constituency Sir Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe aka Ijere, said he is grateful to the delegates and all those who contributed to his emergence as the House of Assembly Candidate of the party at the primaries.
In statement he issued in Umuahia the Abia State capital, Sir Maduakolam Adighibe thanked the people of Afaraukwu, the Ibeku Ukwu Ogurube, family and friends including the church for their support and prayers in securing the APC ticket for the state assembly come 2023.
He said the victory belong to all the people who believe in his aspiration as the best candidate to represent the people of Umuahia Central state constituency in 2023, adding that with their support he would go ahead to win the General Election.
Said Maduakolam Kenneth Adighibe, “I sincerely appreciate the prayers and support of my family, the people of Afaraukwu and all people of Ibeku Ukwu Ogurube…a host of others too numerous to mention for the joyful victory to secure the ticket for House of Assembly 22023. On your behalf the victory is dedicated to our God”.
Sir Adighibe is the founder of Ijere Foundation and a grassroots politician who was the candidate of APC for Umuahia Central in 20219. He said he won the election but was robbed of his victory by the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
He is seen as the candidate to beat in the General Election as he is highly favoured and very popular among the youths of the area.
