A leading Aspirant for the Umuahia North State Constituency Seat and State Coordinator People’s Democratic Party, PPDP, National Youth Movement, Comrade Obed Nnaji Asiegbu has promised to attract Government and investors presence to revitalize the Ulonna North and South farm settlement, a legacy project of Late Dr Michael Okpara in Ohuhu Land.
Comrade Obed Asiegbu who made this promise while addressing journalists after obtaining PDP nomination form from the Abia state PDP secretariat, Umuahia, vowed to identify with any meaningful project with the potential to uplifting the living standard of Ndi- Ohuhu.
Comrade Obed Asiegbu who was flanked by many sons and daughters of Ohuhu applauded the leadership sagacity of Dr Michael Okpara leading to the recognition of the defunct Eastern Region the fastest growing economy and promised to consolidate on the leadership gains of Dr Michael Okpara in Ohuhu Land.
Obedient Obed said that he has before now prepared himself for the job having served and studied many leaders in the past and pleaded with all lovers of good Governance in Ohuhu to rally round his ambition, even as he announced plans to establish Ohuhu school of leadership, growth and development to accelerate grassroots development and enhancement of leadership skills among the Youths.
Reacting to the development, the CEO Rexos International Hotels, Umuahia Hon. Ugochukwu Edozie said that Obed is dedicated, responsible and service-oriented and should be supported by all, adding that Obed has before now learned the nitty-gritty of service and leadership.
Baring his mind, the youth President of Umuhu Comrade Dan Sunday (Last Don) said that the Obedient Obed project is the collective agenda of Ndi-Isingwu that must be realized, assuring that they are solidly behind their son.
Also speaking, Chief Iheanyi Igboanulam (Kpakpando Gburugburu) described the purchase of PDP nomination form by Comrade Obed as a step in the right direction, adding that Obed is rich in character, service, humility, obedience and service.
He also described Obed as the most credible and a loyal party man who has been an integral part of the Ohuhu developmental narratives.
Also speaking, one of the ardent supporters of the Obedient Obed project, Mr Jolly Ezenwa Odimuko said that Obed is a youthful, energetic and focused youth who has come to make a difference in the socio-political landscape of Ohuhu land and described the move as a step towards victory.
In his words, one of the leading supporters of the Obedient Obed project, Mr Jideofor Hart said that his unrepentant support for Obedient Obed is born out of his accessibility, service orientation and grassroots mobilization strategy and urged all well-meaning Ohuhu sons and daughters to key into the Obedient Obed project.
