Frontline contender for the Umuahia North ( Ohuhu) State constituency and State Coordinator People’s democratic Party, PDP, National Youth Movement Comrade Obed Nnaji Asiegbu has felicitated Ohuhu Mothers on this year’s Mothering Sunday.
In a release made available to newsmen in UMUDA Isingwu after being recognized with an award by the Methodist Church Women Fellowship UMUDA Isingwu Ohuhu, Umuahia North, Comrade Obed described the annual event as strategic and very important in the lives of every Methodist Church Mother, noting that the love, care and sacrifices of Christian Mothers are divine.
While eulogizing the special and rare qualities deposit in mothers, Comrade Obed Asiegbu noted that the society wouldn’t have been a place to live without the indelible contributions of Mothers.
In the words of John MacArthur “To be a mother is by no means second class. Men may have the authority in the home, but the women have the influence. The mother, more than the father, is the one who moulds and shapes those little lives from day one…”
According to Comrade Obed “We must never forsake our mother’s teachings. Mothers go through a lot. They go through a lot of things that most people don’t know about. Children imitate the strength and the example of a Godly mother”
He extended his heartfelt congratulations to mothers all over the world and prayed God to keep sustaining them.
