Prof Greg Ibe Eulogises Abia Deputy Speaker As He Dedicates Church Hall Donated To Community

Ohafia South State Constituency was agog with very many distinguished personalities on Saturday the 26th of February 2022 who came from far and wide to show solidarity to Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu, the member representing Ohafia South State Constituency and also the Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly.

The occasion was the dedication of Christ The King Church (CKC) hall single handed built by Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu.

According to Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu, the project is to thank God almighty for his grace upon him, his family and the people of Ohafia LGA.

The personality not left out in the head count of quality attendance is Prof Greg Ikechukwu Ibe, the founder and Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, a humanitarian, builder of entrepreneur, academic and philanthropist.

Prof Greg Ibe reiterated his love and commitment to those who build for God.

He extolled the efforts of Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu whom he described as a worthy Christian and a dedicated Catholic Church enthusiast.

While Speaking through Surv. (Chief) Ibeja Eze S who represented Prof Greg Ibe in the company of Cmrd Christian Ofondu he donated the sum of five hundred Thousand naira (#500,000) to the church in support of the project during the Thanksgiving and Church dedication ceremony

Surv. (Chief) Ibeaja Eze S also supported the donation of Prof Greg Ibe with a personal donation of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000)

He thanked Rt Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu for the monumental edifice and prayed that God who knows the efforts he has invested in the project shall meet him at his point of need.

While Performing the Church Dedication rites, the Catholic Bishop of Umuahia Diocese, His Lordship, Bishop Lucius I. Ugorji eulogized the Deputy Speaker for working for God.

He noted that his gesture towards the work of God will never go unrewarded.

Most Rev. Ugorji also charged others to take the love they have received from Christ to others in their families, places of work/businesses, the motherless and less privileged so as to be able to attract more from the creator.

Those who graced the occasion were the Governor of Abia State ably represented by The Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sir Ude Okochukwu Ph. D, Distinguished Senator (Dr) Mao A. Ohuabunwa,
His Lordship Bishop Lucius Iwejulu Ugorji Ph. D, The Chief of staff to the Governor of Abia State, Prof. A. C. B. Agbazuere, members of Abia state House of Assembly, top Government Officials and a host of outstanding personalities.
