Abia 2023: Group Canvasses Support For Abia Speaker, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji

Concerned Citizens for Ikuku, Isiala ngwa South chapter has appealed to the Speaker, Abia House of Assembly,Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, Ikuku oma Abia to hearken to their clarion call and contest 2023 Governorship race in the State promising to galvanised support for him. 
The Concerned Citizens for Ikuku made this passionate appeal, Thursday during their visit to Abia House of Assembly Complex, Umuahia assured the Chief of staff to Mr Speaker,Hon Kenneth Ezeigbo that his boss,Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji remains a candidate to beat should he make up his mind to run for Abia Governorship race in 2023.
Speaking during the visit,the Coordinator of Concerned Citizens for Ikuku,Hon Philip Nwakpa said that Isiala ngwa South People are happy to be associated with giant strides made by Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, Ikuku oma as the Speaker, Abia House of Assembly, good governance as well as his numerous empowerment projects are scattered within his Constituency and beyond.
He noted that they have come to identify with Mr Speaker for his Political aspirations noting that they from Isiala ngwa South want to join forces with other progressive elements to compel Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji to run for 2023 Governorship election because he is the one everyone has been waiting for.
Also in their seperate speeches,Hon Nwabugo Ogbonna,the Youth Leader,Prophet Chinyere Christian Nwankwo, Financial Secretary,Liberty Enyioko Treasurer and Lady Chinyere Ugorji , Woman Leader of Concerned Citizens for Ikuku said they want to see the Speaker to assure him that they are not playing at Isiala ngwa South but are ready  to support his future political aspirations.
They however promised to mobilize  both grassroots and Social media supports, and to canvass for more supporters because the family of Ochendo is a good one, therefore needs support of well meaning Abians  en route 2023 general election in the State.

According to one of them, Lady Chinyere Ugorji,the Woman Leader, of Concerned Citizens for Ikuku” We like the family of Senator T A Orji because they carry everybody along, Ikuku is also a good leader, heard about other  structures endorsing him,we cannot wait to carry last ,we therefore want to join those in the fore front to project him politically,we are people that cast votes, Isiala ngwa South women are solidly behind Ikuku and their family.”.
Lady Chinyere Ugorji therefore called on Abia Speaker to come and run for Abia Governorship in 2023 that Isiala ngwa South women are solidly behind him.

In his response,the Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Abia House of Assembly,Hon Kenneth Ezeigbo thanked them for coming and identifying with Mr Speaker that he is delighted about the good testimonies given  on his boss and family.
He said that Isiala ngwa South is a strategic place in Abia’Central Senatorial District stressing that the zoning of Governorship position is a party thing and that the party is supreme and that appropriate time will decide where it will go .
Chief of Staff to Mr Speaker however encouraged them to continue to work hard, make themselves to be strong and viable on the political trends  of Abia State adding that his boss is yet to make any public pronouncement as to his next Political move,he is Mr Speaker today, and they are praying that he is going to go higher than the position he is holding currently when the chips are down.
Hon Ezeigbo who paid glowering tributes to the former Governor of Abia State family, Senator T A Orji’s family, thus,” this is a family that is well groomed,has the interest of the citizenry at heart and family ordained by God to touch lives positively.”He added that he has seen them as serious minded group and will surely take their message to Mr Speaker,his boss while appreciating their visit.Highpoint of the visit was group photograph taken with the Chief of staff in his office, House of Assembly Complex, Umuahia.
