Sen T.A Orji Embarks On Inspection Of Projects In Abia Central, Commissions Classroom blocks At Ntigha And Oloko

Senator representing Abia Central senatorial district at the National Assembly, Chief T.A Orji has restated his commitment to the provision of primary health care facilities and good academic environment to his constituents.

Senator Orji made this known during his inspection tour of completed and ongoing projects sponsored by him in the Abia Central senatorial district. Some of the projects include Ukome Primary Health Centre with quarters and ambulance which is 90 per cent completed, construction of six classrooms block at Amapu Ntigha Community Primary School in Isialangwa North LGA, construction of three classrooms block at Mgbaja Ossah Primary School, building of a Primary health centre at Umuariaga Ikwuano,as well as the commissioning of another completed six classrooms block at Nchara Oloko Primary School, Ikwuano.

The former governor of Abia State stressed that the primary health care centre he built at Ukome in Umuahia North LGA will be operational in few weeks time in order to cater for the primary health needs of his constituents. Senator Orji also thanked his Constituents for their unwavering support, urging them to remain steadfast and committed in their support to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Earlier in his remark, the member representing Isialangwa North State constituency, Sir Ginger Onwusibe commended Senator T.A Orji for his numerous projects that touches the lives of the people. He appreciated him for the timely completion of the 6 classrooms block commissioned at Amapu Ntigha and encouraged the people to remain supportive of the PDP led administration.

Also Speaking, the chairman of Isialangwa North LGA, Elder Chinwendu Ochulor, the traditional ruler of Amapu Ntigha Autonomous Community, Eze B.O Asonye, the PDP Chairman Isialangwa North Elder Sam Esindu all lauded Senator T.A Orji for his love and support for Isialangwa North and prayed God to grant him good health and long life.

Speaking, the Abia State Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Dr. Chimezie Okwuonu and his Secretary Dr. Robinson Ugwuanyi expressed their delight in the construction of the state-of-the-art primary health care centres with ambulance services, which is similar to a cottage hospital. They pledged the support of NMA in providing primary health care services to the people in the area.

The two day programme featured the commissioning of the Amapu Ntigha primary school, and Nchara Oloko Community Primary School. The head teacher of Amapu Ntigha Primary School, Comrade Akwuru-Oha Jerald and a stakeholder in Ukome Umuahia North, thanked Senator T.A Orji for his quality representation.

The project inspection tour turned to a rally of sorts as villagers and party men and women trooped out in their large numbers to welcome Sen T. A Orji and his entourage to their communities with different dance groups and booming canon shots to herald his coming.
