Anambra State born Igbo Muslim billionaire and industrialist, Alhaji Abdulazeez Chivuzo Ude is dead. He died in the early hours of Thursday September 16, 2021 at Enugu after a brief illness. He was aged 81-years.According to close sources the Igbo Muslim industrialist died of a natural cause at Enugu.Alhaji Abdulazeez Chivuzo Ude is a prominent Igbo Muslim based in Lagos. He was Chairman and director of many companies and was a director and financier of Newswatch magazine during the late Dele Giwa era.He is behind several companies like Tanhigh Holdings Ltd, 150 Estates Nig Ltd, Trans-Sahel Airlines Ltd etc.The late Alhaji Abdulazeez Chivuzo Ude also played a founding role in the African Business Roundtable and African Development Bank. He was variously described as a quintessential icon of culture and man of means, who assisted a lot of people who thronged his office at Ikoyi for assistance.Born September 30, 1940 he was educated at Oxford England and Columbia in the United States of America,USA.The ace highlife maestro, Oliver de Coque waxed lyrical in songs in praise and celebration of the numerous achievements of Alhaji Abdulazeez Chivuzo Ude.At the time of this report it was not clear if he will be buried according to Islamic rites.
