Senator representing Abia Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Chief T.A Orji today flagged-off the reconstruction of Woji-Aleto- Alesa Refinery Road in Rivers State. The official ceremony marked the beginning of the construction of the 8 kilometre strategic road.
While performing the official ceremony, the former governor of Abia State and ranking senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, eulogises the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, describing him as action governor of the moment.
Senator T.A Orji said that Governor Wike is never tired of working for the people, and defending the masses, commending him for being dogged, fearless and straightforward in his actions.
The Abia Senator popularly called ‘Ochendo’ by his teeming supporters believes that Gov Wike is specially packaged by God to be governor and to prove to people that He is God, urging him not to relent.
Senator T.A Orji noted that apart from Infrastructural projects, the Rivers Governor has touched almost every sector of the state’s economy for the masses to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
In his address Governor Wike stated that a former Director General of NIMASA, Dr Dakuku Peterside’s claim that his administration has achieved nothing is nothing but cheap falsehood.
He challenged the former NIMASA DG to show evidence of projects he attracted to Rivers State during his headship of the money spinning agency, while assuring that Rivers State would remain a PDP state even if it’s the only state standing.
The 8km Road which is designed with a 200 metres bridge, after construction will open up the axis to seeious economic activities. The road which also has a spur to the East-West Road was flagged off by Senator T.A Orji today Tuesday 29th June 2021, on the invitation of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
