Senator T.A Orji Rebuilds Classroom Blocks At Umuakpara Community Primary School Osisioma Ngwa

Former governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Chief T.A Orji, has rebuilt the dilapidated classroom blocks at Umuakpara Community Primary School, Osisioma Ngwa in a bid to bequeath a conducive and better learning environment to the pupils and teachers in the school.

The classroom blocks which is built to new standard by Senator T.A Orji is in line with the senator’s education policy to ensure that children have access to basic education under a conducive learning environment for their development.
According to Ifeanyi Umere, the Constituency Liaison Officer to Senator T.A Orji, the Senator decided to rehabilitate the school’s classroom blocks following the appeal by stakeholders of Osisioma Ngwa about deplorable condition of the primary school which is strategic to primary education of children in the area and beyond.
He said that the school which has students enrollment of 310 pupils was the shadow of its old self, and begging for urgent attention to make it look like a learning and education environment.

The statement issued by Umere and made available to Newscritic online in Umuahia, pointed out that due to Senator Orji’s commitment to uplifting the education standards of his constituents in particular and Abia State in general, he sponsored the project.
He said that Senator Orji believes that a positive classrooms environment helps improve the quality of education and behavioral pattern of the students.
According to Umere, Senator Orji’s accomplishments in the education sector both as governor and senator have earned him several awards both locally and international, which was in recognition of his education friendly disposition.

The classroom blocks have been completely renovated by Senator Orji and to be handed over to the school authorities for better learning environment, which students look forward to, the statement adds.
“This is the driving spirit behind the mandate given to a man who has a milk of human kindness in him and who sees through their eyes”.
The hand over of the reconstructed class room blocks will take place on Thursday 27th May, 2021 which incidentally is designated as Children’s Day celebration.
“On May 27, 2021 the history books will open to chronicle significantly the symbolic handing over of classrooms to the school to the glory of God and the benefits of mankind, the CLO noted.
He observed that class room environment is one of the factors that affects a student’s learning, maintaining that a positive learning environment is key to learning because it provides a secured environment for the students and teachers to flourish together in a positive environment.
