The General Supritendent emeritus of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, AGN, the Rev Dr Charles Ogbonnaya Osueke is dead.
Assemblies of G church community and others who came in contact with the spirit filled man of God are mourning his emise. He died at age 79 years, it was gathered.
Though no official statement has been released by the church concerning his death, the social media and AGN community are mourning Rev Dr Osueke’s death in the social media.
One social media user wrote “End of an era in the historicity of Pentecostalism in Africa nay, the world and Christendom.
Good night Papa. We will understand it better by and by. Heaven has gained”.
@ Rev Paul Nathan Udeze wrote on his social media wall that “an Angel has gone home! Heaven has bursted into celebration as God’s general, Rev Dr. Charles Osueke receives a royal welcome in heaven.
“Today, he meets with the one he so loved, served sincerely and worshipped. I envy this great general.
“I can see the host of angels rejoicing and celebrating. Daddy has put on his celestial body and all the tears and pains are over.
“Adieu, my father! Adieu, God’s general! Adieu, a man of meekness and humility! Adieu, a man full of love and forgiveness!
