Methodist Prelate, Peter Obi, Abia Speaker, Others Attend Arch Bishop Opoko’s Thanksgiving In Umuahia

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu represented by his Deputy, Sir. Ude Oko Chukwu attended the Eucharistic Service for the 60th Birthday Thanksgiving service of the Methodist Church Nigeria, MCN archbishop, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Chibuzo Raphael Opoko.

The event took place at John Wesley cathedral, MCN Umuahia archdiocese at Wesley Cathedral, Crowther Street by Umuwaya road, Umuahia, Abia state.

The service attracted the presence of the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Chinedu Enyinnaya Orji the Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. S.C.K. Uche , clergy and many other notable personalities.
Former governor Peter Obi, According to the celebrant will be the chairman of the second segment of the celebration at the International Conference Centre Umuahia.
At the time of this report, the church service just ended.

The deputy governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, in his address on behalf of the government and people of Abia State, thanked God for His faithfulness in the life of Arch Bishop Opoko.

He said the government of Abia State appreciate the celebrant’s commitment to the growth and development of the state.
