Prince Apugo Will Face Dire Consequences If He Attacks Sen Orji Again- Ibeku Leaders

By NewsCritic Reporters

A group of Ibeku leaders have threatened to expose the Board of Trustees, BoT, member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince BB Apugo in the event that he dares attack senator T.A Orji again.

In a press statement issued and signed by prominent Ibeku sons titled “a rejoinder to Prince BB Apugo’s diatribe against the person of senator T.A Orji”, the group blasted Apugo, while describing him as a renegade to Ibeku people.

The statement noted that the attack on senator Orji was baseless and senseless, adding that the people should do a comparison of senator Orji, CON, who rose through the ranks of civil service to become Administrative Secretary to INEC, Permanent Secretary to governor and now ranking senator, with the so called but atrocious Apugo, a private person incapable of holding a public office.

Ibeku leaders alleged that Apugo’s only reason for being in politics is to confiscate, seize and withhold for private use, large sums of political money and patronage that comes his way. “Since the second republic BB Apugo has been banned from travelling to the US on grounds of fraud and dishonesty”, the group alleges.

They further said that “BB Apugo has consistently committed sacrilege, abomination and defilement of Ibeku land by forcibly luring married women away from their husbands and children to live with him. Apugo in the 90s stood trial for the murder of one Eboh in his village and only escaped death sentence by the whiskers and compromise”.

“As the good people of Ibeku get more united to think out ways to add to the developments that senator T.A Orji brought to our land as Governor, we urge everybody to be wary of BB Apugo and his antics. We restate that we are now ready for BB Apugo and we will not hesitate to expose him the more to the world, the statement adds.

The statement was signed by Hon. G.O Onyemaobi, Chief Emma Nwabuko, Dr Udoh Ogbonna, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, Sir Frank Ibe, Rt Hon. Nwoke Chidiebere and Chief Uche Akwukwaegbu.

Apugo had in a live radio programme in Umuahia accused Senator Orji of corruption and no-performance as governor.
