David Okengwu is a talented young man who is passionate about writing and was working for years before he broke down as a result of Chronic Kidney Disease. Since then he has been unable to continue his career.
He has been receiving treatment for this condition, however, his health deteriorated and eventually he had to undergo a Kidney Transplant a year ago at Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Umuahia.
Unfortunately, he developed complications after the transplant and was eventually referred to Zenith Medical and Kidney Center, Abuja where a kidney biopsy revealed that the transplanted kidney has failed. The doctors managing him have recommended another kidney transplant in order to save his life.
Presently, he is undergoing dialysis on alternate days and hoping for a more permanent solution which is another transplant. We humbly request for your financial assistance in raising funds for another kidney transplant.
