President General of Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide, Sir Obi Aguocha has harped on the need for unity among the people of Ohuhu Umuahia in order to achieve their common aspirations.
Aguocha stated this when the leadership of Ohuhu Solidarity Forum (OSF) led by its President, Mr Okechukwu Ufomadu donated relief materials to the Ohuhu COVID-19 Relief Fund set up by the leadership of Ohuhu Welfare Union in response to the COVID-19 lockdown arising from the global Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking while making the donations, the President of Ohuhu Solidarity Forum, Mr Okechukwu Ufomadu stressed that the group came to support the noble initiatives of Sir Aguocha and his team on the Ohuhu COVID-19 Relief Fund which was established to help cushion the effects of the lockdown on the less privileged and vulnerable in the society.
Mr Ufomadu, said that the Ohuhu Solidarity Forum wants to be part of history by identifying with the efforts of the President General of OWU to help humanity at this period of economic hardship in the country as a result of the Coronavirus lockdown. Adding that they are happy with what is happening under the present leadership of Sir Aguocha and his efforts to move Ohuhu forward both socially and economically.
He assured Aguocha of the full support of Ohuhu Solidarity Forum in his bid to take Ohuhu to the next level.
The OSF donated 5 bags of 100 kg Beans, 50 cartons of Noodles and 200 pieces of Face Masks as its contribution and support to the Ohuhu COVID-19 Relief Fund.
