Coronavirus: Obi Aguocha Suspends All Meetings, Events In Ohuhu In Line With Govt Directives

In line with government directives to Town Unions to mobilize their Clans to comply with measures aimed at combating the spread of the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic, the President General of Ohuhu Welfare Union has directed that all union meetings, events, gatherings including the already scheduled, Ohuhu Welfare Union Town Hall meeting hitherto scheduled for 13|04|2020, the Ohuhu Women Wing prayer March and the Youth Wing events be postponed indefinitely.

All Village and Autonomous Community leadership are advised to ensure that all already scheduled burial ceremonies should comprise of not more than fifty persons, including suspension of all village meetings, weddings and gatherings.

The President General enjoins all Ohuhu people to be very circumspect in the conduct of their daily affairs, maintain the highest level of hygiene and ensure continued access and conformity to information and directives from credible media’s on ways and means of ensuring individual and community safety from the Covid-19 scourge.
