Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has come under severe attacks from Nigerians over the statement credited to him that the Federal Government is handling the issue of insecurity well.
Prof Osinbajo was quoted to have made this comment during his meeting with Northern pastors. Recall that Christians leaders had protested the rising spate of insecurity in the country today, especially the beheading of the CAN Chairman in Michika Adamawa by Boko Haram.
This is even as the picture of a family and mother who was abducted by bandits in Kaduna last week and just executed trends on the social media.
Dr Ataga’s wife was reportedly abducted by bandits in Kaduna a week ago and had just been executed. Information reaching our news desk indicates that the bandits demanded N120 million from the husband to release his wife. They eventually killed the woman and now demanded for N20 million on the head of the children.
