Obi Aguocha Reaffirms Commitment To The Progress Of Ohuhu Land

The President-General of Ohuhu Welfare Union, OWU, high Chief Obi Aguocha has restated the commitment of the new leadership of the union to the progress and development of Ohuhu and its people.

In a message to the people of Ohuhu to mark one month since the inauguration of the present leadership of OWU, High Chief Aguocha reiterated his resolve and determination to the prosperity of Ohuhu land and to usher in a new dawn of peace and cooperation.

He said that in recognition of the trust placed on his leadership by the people of Ohuhu, that they will not fail to move Ohuhu to higher level of development both in thought and action, adding that whatever could be done to take Ohuhu back to its true position will be pursued vigorously.

The President-General prayed that the new Exco will remain focused to the realisation of the goals and social responsibility which is for the overall good and well-being of Ohuhu people.

Part of the statement read “Today, marks exactly one month that we were each elected into our various offices to help lift Ohuhu up into the higher realms of thought and action.

“For my part, I humbly ask, as the first step toward the recognition of that essential element of trust placed upon us can only be to secure the health, strength, and prosperity of Ohuhu land and ndi Ohuhu.

“I believe that whatever could be done to lift Ohuhu back to her true position will help to usher in a new dawn of peace and cooperation. This is the ultimate task for a confident people, which is what we have been throughout our generations past and what we still are now in our deepest character.

“I pray that we shall continue to remain focused toward our avowed commitments and social responsibility in the interest of the common good and well-being of our people. Umunna’m, this is our duty to cherish, it is our duty to fulfil, and indeed, our duty to preserve.
