A court of appeal in Lagos State has ordered a retrial of the case challenging the victory of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the March 9 governorship election. The court on Tuesday asked that the case be returned to the election petitions tribunal for a retrial. Owolabi Salis and Ifagbemi Awamaridi, the governorship candidates of Alliance for Democracy and Labour Party, respectively, filed a petition challenging the validity of Sanwo-Olu’s victory.
