The police in Lagos state have arrested a 28-year old man, Anudumoapo Aiodun, for allegedly raping and defiling an eight-year old girl. A statement released by the state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, says that on Saturday June 15th at about 5.00pm, men of the Bariga Police Station received a complaint from a woman (Name withheld) that her eight years old daughter (Name withheld) was raped by their neighbour.
